  1. Hi there everyone. I found myself faced with the dilemma of 
  2. upgrading all my old archives on floppy disks to PKZip 2.04c. 
  3. I wrote this batch file to help me accomplish the task. The 
  4. program will convert a .zip file on a floppy disk to whatever 
  5. version of PKZip you have on your path. To run it, type:
  6.  
  7.  "Zip2new"  <floppy drive letter> <hard drive letter>.
  8.  
  9.   The program uses your hard drive to unzip the programs on and 
  10. repackage them. It will delete all traces of itself on your 
  11. harddrive. It uses a working directory "/xxxx" so if you 
  12. already have a directory with this name, just edit the files 
  13. to another directory name which isn't on your hard drive. Both 
  14. the files Zip2new.bat and convert.bat are needed to run the 
  15. program.

  18. suggestions from people on how it could have been better or if 
  19. there is an easier or better way that anyone may think of to do
